Are Demonic or Democratic Forces at Work in the Middle East?

By Bill Salus

Is this recent wave of Palestinian terrorism and Hamas rocket assaults purposely intended to provoke Israel into another war with Hamas? In December, 2008 Israel waged a 22-day campaign into the Gaza against Hamas. At the time Hamas and their Arab allies were unprepared to ally together in the fight which afforded Israel a lopsided victory. However, since December, 2009 Hamas has entered into bonafide war-pacts with Iran, Hezbollah, and Syria.

Could Hamas have been given the green light by its allies to provoke Israel into another conflict, one that they are all prepared to fight at this time? Hezbollah has 60,000 rockets. Syria possesses the most advanced scud missiles in the world, and Iran is on the verge of going nuclear. (Read entire article now)

Israel - Caught in the Crosshairs of Christian Palestinianism

Christianity finds itself at a critical crossroad regarding the modern day Jewish State. The Arab unrest plaguing the Middle East is causing Christians to decide whether Israel is the “owner” or “occupier” of the Promised Land.

Does Israel exist in fulfillment of Bible Prophecy, or is it simply the result of U.N. moral obligation? Christian Zionists believe Israel has a God given right to exist in the land allotted to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.” (Genesis 15:18, nkjv)

This passage defines the vast boundaries of the Promised Land ranging from northeastern portions of Egypt to parts of Syria and Iraq. Presently, Israel is struggling to maintain possession of about one-tenth of this landmass. The international community and many Christians want Israel to give much of it back for a Palestinian State.

This week on Prophecy Update Radio the competing ideologies within Christianity of Christian Zionism and Christian Palestinianism are adeptly analyzed and adequately compared. Host, Bill Salus, welcomes his guest, Dr. Paul Wilkinson, to address this timely topic. Dr. Wilkinson, an expert on Christian Palestinianism, warns the Church is being overtaken by “Replacement Theologians promoting a Pro-Palestinian agenda.”

In this fascinating two part broadcast Bill and Paul draw a line in the Mideast sand and challenge Christians to decide on which side they stand. Is God done with the Jew, or are prophesied Mideast events about to reveal the folly of Replacement Theology?

Japan - The Apple of God's Eye, or Thorn in His Side?

By Bill Salus

Japan’s Prime Minister says country facing worst crisis since World War II

It has been warned, “It’s not good to kick a man when he’s down,” but when it comes to the Jews, the Japanese just keep on kicking. Jewish blood has stained Japanese hands since World War II when they participated with Germany as part of the “Axis Alliance.” This terrible miscalculation achieved for them the atomic accolade of being the first world nation ever nuked! The Future for America in Bible Prophecy

In light of these uncertain times many Christian Americans are asking, “What is the future for America in Bible prophecy?” This
question arises primarily because;

1. Of mounting concern the country has abandoned its Christian heritage and is headed in the wrong direction,

2. America is not conspicuously located anywhere upon the pages of the Bible,

3. And out of concern that these are the last days.

Interestingly, respected Christian voices like, Dr. David Reagan, Dr. Mark Hitchcock, Terry James, and more, have felt burdened to write books on the subject. Not surprisingly, the Lord has led them all to a similar conclusion. The combined concensus is that America does not appear to be located in the Bible, or if it is, it doesn't maintain its superpower status on through to the end.

They suggest America’s silence in the Bible is deafening and implies that the United States could come under divine judgment. Are they correct, and how soon could judgment come?

I have had the opportunity to interview each of these end time’s experts on Prophecy Update Radio. To hear, first hand, what they believe the future for America is in Bible prophecy, listen to their and others answers by clicking on the links below. *These interviews were conducted within the past two years.

Will Arab Protests Result in Mideast Wars?

Arab protests continue spreading like wildfires throughout the Middle East. Many liberal pundits hope this promotes freedom and democracy throughout the region. However, while Americans wait for Mideast dust to settle and new Arab governments to form, they are experiencing pain at the pumps. Gas prices rose 26 times in 27 days in parts of California in the month of February, 2011.

This week on Prophecy Update Radio Bill reminds the listeners Mideast events could signal the Israeli War Prophecies are about to occur. He suggests the unrest might be the Lord's way of telling humanity; “You have had 62-years since Israel became a nation; international community, and you’ve botched it and made it worse, and they have high-tech arsenals that can decimate the Jewish State pointed at the Jewish State.

Furthermore he adds, And I think the Lord’s going to step in at this point, and I don’t think we’re going to see an international peaceful resolve to this matter. I think it’s going to break out into wars and the peace Israel so desperately needs and wants to achieve they’ll have it and they’ll dwell securely in order for Ezekiel 38 & 39 to occur. But, it won’t be through politically brokered land for peace deals. I think it’s going to be a mess in the Mideast!”

Bill concludes the interview by reminding the listeners why democracy in the Arab and Persian dominated countries hasn't work.

Egypt's 40-Year Desolation

Dear Mr. Salus, Greetings in the Name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. In reading some of your articles it is clear you believe Psalm 83 precedes Ezekiel 38. I’m puzzled about some prophecies regarding Egypt in the end time's. Could you please answer the following questions?

Q. Ezekiel 29:12-13 says Egypt is made desolate for 40 years, has this happened in history?

Q.
Isaiah 19:23 says there will be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt. When do you believe this finds fulfillment?

Q. Isaiah 19:18 says 5 cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan. Has this happened in history?
